Two weeks better
"If you had started doing anything two weeks ago, by today you
would have been two weeks better at it."
-- John Mayer
Day 3
I am thankful for my FAMILY! I love my family so so much! I believe I was born into the best family that ever existed. I was born into a sarcastic family with a hard of hearing, and a lack of height. My family is so much fun. I love all of my siblings so much. And I rarely fight with them. I love my parents a ton. They are always there for me and have done so much for me. I love my extended family. I get to see my dads side of the family every single Sunday, and I love it.Thanks family for being so great! I LOVE YOU!!! <3
Day 2
I'm thankful for my amazing friends! They are so supportive of me. I love that we have literally no drama in our little group. We have so much fun together and its always clean fun. I love that I don't ever half to worry about my friends wanting to do something that doesn't fit with my standards. My friends are always there for me to make me laugh, and to make me feel good about my self. I am so thankful for my "cousins" they have been my best friends since we were born. I can always have fun with them no madder where we are. Vacations are never the same it they aren't there. I love all my friends. Thanks for everything you have done for me. I LOVE YOU!

Eternally Greatful {day 1}
I have been a slacker blogger lately, yet I have spent much time on blogger. I have a few big posts that I have started, and haven't finished... sorry about that! I've been busy. I have been thinking recently about what I want to do with this blog. I would love some more followers.......hint hint....... But really I want to make it more personal. I have a really good friend {READ HER BLOG HERE... really though....read it.} that promised to post about something she is thankful for every single day for the month of November in honor Thanksgiving. I think I will accept that as a challenge.
I'd like to kick off this marathon of thanks with a quick post about my one true love. No, It's not tumbling, or guitar, or blogging......It is the fact that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Now, almost everyone who reads this blog all ready knows about the church, but for those of you who don't, and want to learn more click HERE. I am so glad that I was born into a family that is strong in the gosple. There is no greater happiness, than the happiness that comes from living and loving the gosple. I am not afraid to say that I am obsessed with seminary. obsessed.
I am also obsessed with EFY. {shout out to mama KJ, Randi & Braden & my Upbraideth Not family. ILY!} I have said that I have a dream of being a counselor, this is based solely on the spirit I have felt at EFY, and the friendships I have made. The church brings me joy. A joy that I wish everyone could have. Thank you God for this wonderful life that you have given me, and helping me become who I am toay. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon, and I know that this is the true church. Amen
Now I'd like to re-distribute this thankfull challange (that was never actually given to me) to you.
What are you thankful for?

consider your thanks
"and when thou risest in the
let thy heart
be full
of thanks unto God;
and if ye do these things,
ye shall be lifted up at the
last day."
-Alma 37:37
I recently came accross this YouTube Video. {below} This video made me think {as I often do}. It made me think about my life. The opportunities I have. The chance I get to go to school. The most amazing family ever. Parents that love me. A place where I can feel save. The greatest team mates in the world. Work. That I can afford what I need. This warm house over my head, this computer I'm typing on. My wonderful guitar sitting next to me, Music, good roll models, the list could go on and on. It made me realize how truly greatful I am for this wonderful life I live every day, and I know for a fact that I have taken it for granted. I sometimes think to myself about all the people in 3rd world countries that dream of living a life like mine, in the same way I dream of life as a Princess. To people like this, I live like royalty. As I was in the car driving to the gym today I wondered how many times I had made that drive. More than I can even count. How many days of learning have I been blessed with? Well this is the 13th year I have been enrolled in school (including pre-school and kindergarten) How many times have I worried about going hungry? Not once. ever. I live a blessed life. Sure there are ups and downs, and bumps in the road, but when you really step back and evaluate it all you realize that your life is blessed. There is always someone who has it better than you, but then again there is always someone who has it worse.
In my World Civ Honors class yesterday we were discussing the Untouchables. For those of you who don't know what untouchables are, it is a "class" below slaves. Once born into it, there is absolutly no hope of ever getting out. In a society that has no mobility between classes, you have no choices. You don't get to choose your own destiny. However, here in America...land of the FREE! You have every right to make yourself a better life. We life in a land where Olympic athletes are regular people, and the greatest singers were made fun of growing up. We live in a world where you don't half to be born into a rich family to learn how to be successfull in life. Remember:
"The biggest
trees
got their start
in the
dirt"
-Whitney {me}
I have just felt so much gratitude lately, and I would feel ungreatfull if I didn't share it. I am so verry thankful for the life I live, the people surrounding me, and the opportunities I have. I am thankful for the Church.
Now I want you to consider what you are thankfull for as you watch this YouTube video about an incredable person
What are you thankful for?

Whoever had the idea.... I hate you. {a weekend story}
![]() |
| This is my new favorite picture |
This weekend was the best kind of weekends. It was a long weekend. We headed to a condo in the middle of no-mans-land with best friends to forget everything and take a break from life. We played guitars, we sat in the hot tub, we laughed, we had a photo shoot, we sat outside under the moon in the most perfect weather, we talked about boys, and school, and spiritual stuff. We ate some home made pizza, and danced around the kitchen to the sound of Taylor Swift. We went to church, and fit all 13 of us on one bench, We sang some songs, and most importantly....
we made memories.
Now whoever had the idea that we should all go back to real life..... I hate you.
But hey, Next weekend is TOFG with these lovely ladies in the picture, and the weekend after that is State Camp with my team!
So all I can say is I <3 the weekend.
