BELIEVE WHAT IS HAPPENING OH MY GOODNESS GOD LOVES ME SO MUCH.
So Saturday was TRANSFER
DOCTRINE day right?! So I skip on over to the Elder's baptism and it's in the
afternoon so I know that any minute I could get a transfer
doctrine call from either the zone leaders or whoever my new comp will be....
SO THERE I WAS ALL STRESSED
ABOUT LIFE. I'm tellin' ya.... ain't nothin' more stressful than waiting to
find out who you will spend next six weeks with 24/7.
So I'm sitting there and I
get a 407 phone call so I KNOW It's my new comp.
But I'm sitting in a room
full of people waiting for a baptism to start.
So I excused myself into the
hallway to call the number back.
But by the time I'm in the
hallway it had gone to voice mail and my new friend left me a message...
So I listened to the message
and and and and and and
I HEAR MY GOOD FRIEND SISTER
GLOVER SAY....
"SISTER REID CALL ME
BACK RIGHT NOW."
I passed out.
I died and went to Heaven.
I called her back real fast.
I AM GOING TO BE COMPANIONS
WITH MY BFF SISTER GLOVER.

Sister Glover and I have been talking about how we want to be companions since
we were FRESH OUTTA TRAINING and in my head it was always one of those dreams
that was fun to think about, but was never going to happen like riding a
Unicorn or walking on water.

I'm on cloud nine my
friends. It's just been another week in paradise. 👌🏻
So here is how it all went
down.
MONDAYYY
Our Daytona buddies (Sister
Carter and Sister Badal) came and got us and we went over to the new Tanger
Outlets that just opened in Daytona. That was a blast and a half. 🤘🏼 After
P-Day we went and taught our new friend Robbie. Kim is a YSA in the ward and
she is dating Robbie. Last week they introduced us to Robbie and we picked him
up as an investigator. On Monday we taught him the restoration and it was so
good I can't even handle it. On Tuesday when I was in Bunnell with Sister
Anderson, Sister Jones and Sister Yance put him on date for January 14th!
TUESDAYYY
We got up early and ran over
to Bunnell. I got to spend the day with Sister Anderson up there in good ole
Palm Coast. (Fun fact: the car they have in Bunnell sits low so I have to sit
on a pillow when I drive there. 😂) We went to Habitat for Humanity
and organized a lot of things and talked to Elder Leishman and Elder Honda for
a bit. Then we went and grabbed some jumpsuits for BEN WHO I TAUGHT THE FIRST
DISCUSSION TO A FEW TRANSFERS AGO LAST TIME I WAS ON EXCHANGES WITH SISTER
ANDERSON IN BUNNELL. Then we ran home for lunch and went with Sister King and
Mary who is a sweet old lady who is a snowbird from England to go visit a lady
named Virginia. Then we went to Ben's house and had a baptismal suit fashion
show. That is always one of my favorite moments in teaching people because
that's when it finally feels real. Then we went to this beautiful lake and had
our lesson with Ben. Mostly Ben just taught us things he has learned throughout
his life and I just sat with my jaw gaping because there were some things I
have been praying about lately and there were a few things he said where the
Spirit just hit me in the face with a brick and said "that's you're
answer." It was a really good reminder to me that the world around me
really is so good and how I don't want to take any of the next three transfers
for granted.

Then we went to the Price's
for dinner. 'Twas a good time. 👍🏻 Then we taught
Amanda and her crazy fun kids. What a swell day in Palm Coast.
P.s. I love Sister Anderson
WEDNESDAY I woke up in
Bunnell and Sis Anderson and I went to DM. In DM I gave an adjusting to
Missionary Life Thought and also did a musical number with Sister Jones,
Carter, and Badal. Nobody died so I guess it went alright. 😂😂 Then
we exchanged back, had lunch, and went and taught Tammy. Then we did some
finding. Remember when I wrote about how the fire hydrants in Florida are
always different colors? Well I found some extra exciting fire hydrants...

After finding we went and
had dinner with the Wells. I. LOVE. THEM.
Then we went and visited
Barbara, then Melody, Brittany, Milady, and Jeffery. This week Milady decided
she needed more keychains on her backpack..... LOOK AT THIS...

After our lesson with them
we went and saw the Orbans and finished drawing the Plan of Salvation.
THURSDAYYYY
We saw Sister Gruber. Then
we met Gabe who is in the ward and I'm not even lying when I tell you he is my
new best friend. He is so cool. Then we taught our new investigator Mark. His
daughter is a member that lives in Georgia and she called us and asked us visit
her dad. We had a good visit with him. Then we visited Sister Donnelly and then
Cassie and Herbert. Then we went to Brother Schmidt's and Judy's for a pizza
party. 🤘🏼🍕
FRIDAYYY
I weekly planned while HNA
Jones packed. Then we went to the Cintron's and they gave us silver chain
necklaces for Christmas. I love them. Then we went to Salsas to have dinner
with Brother Pulver. I ran into the Lewandowski's who I knew from the Daytona
ward so that was fun! Then we went and visited Rod. He's such a funny guy. 😂

AND APRIL FOR GETTING MARRIED ON FRIDAY! AND THANKS TO MY FAMILY FOR SENDING ME

SATURDAYYY
We had lunch with the
Shauvers and Doans. Then we did a bunch of finding. Then we taught a guy named
Darryl. Then we went and saw Junior and the rest of his crew. I love those
kids.
Then we ran over to the
elders baptism for two little boys. I found out about transfers. I died. If you
forgot about what happened you can read the beginning of this email again... it
was such a good moment in my life.
*passes out because I'm
still in shock that I'm really going to be Sister Glover's comp*
Then we went to Sister
Chilkott's for dinner. Haha I love her. Then we taught Mark again. Last time we
saw him we said a prayer that someone would help him fix his roof that was
damaged in the hurricane and the next day somebody called him saying they could
fix it. He won't call us sisters anymore and will only refer to us as
"Angels" 😄😇 I love being a missionary.
After our lesson with him we visited Melody, Brittany, Milady, and Jeffery.
Milady gave me a necklace. I LOVE HER I LOVE HER I LOVE HER.
SUNDAYYY
Junior got confirmed a
member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! There were two other
Confirmations or the Elders investigators AND a baby blessing so it was a
pretty exciting Sunday. After church we had choir.
They wanted me to sing in
this trio for the Christmas Fireside. I sing Soprano and am not like that great
at picking out parts let alone singing fancy alto parts. So we were practicing
and I was trying to sing alto, but the lady singing soprano was singing fancy
opera stuff and I couldn't hear the piano so I was like "welp... I'll just
make up some notes I guess..."
Then they were all
"Sister Reid... I thought you were a really good singer..."
"Tricked ya"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Then they kicked me out of
the group. It's fine though. I didn't actually want to sing in front of a
billion people.
Then we visited Sister
Gruber so Sister Jones could say goodbye.
Then we visited the Upfolds
and had dinner with the Steflik's. Then we went to see the Hewletts. They are
so great I can't handle it.
TODAYYY
Is ZONE P-DAY AND WE ARE
GOING ICE SKATING IN DAYTONA AND YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PUMPED I AM BECAUSE I
HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY DEPRIVED OF EVERYTHING WINTER.
It's 79 degrees today. In
case you were wondering. It was 85 yesterday...

did? Oh.... sorry. I'm just really pumped about it.
